We do this through…

  • Our National Social Connection Corps (with hundreds of volunteer members)

  • Belong Circles (currently in 25+ U.S. cities) and

  • Belong Benches

We design one-of-a-kind products and programs that empower everyday citizens to connect and combat loneliness and isolation.

What we've accomplished in 2025

Meet us at our peer-led Belong Circles across the country!

Join the National Social Connection Corps App!

Designed to help people create social connection and belonging in their own neighborhoods, on their own timelines, in easy, frequent, and spontaneous ways.

We’re a national movement of everyday humans who go into the wild to spark connection and belonging one RASCAL (random act of social connection and love) at a time.

The leading cause of depression is loneliness.

1 in 4 people worldwide are experiencing loneliness

Meta-Gallup Study, 2023

Loneliness has the same impact on our mortality as smoking 15 cigarettes a day.

The average time spent spent engaging with friends was 60 minutes a day in 2003 and decreased to 20 minutes a day in 2020.

43% of Americans feel they don’t have meaningful relationships (e.g. people to talk to about how they really are)

Cigna Corporation., 2018

Single-person households accounted for 13% of all U.S. households in 1960. It more than doubled to 29% of all households in 2022.
